Text message is the preferred method to schedule dates for established clients.
All payments are due in full the day service begins. If we begin service and payment has not been remitted, a 15% per day late fee will be applied to the final total.
All overnight, holiday, and/or any services totaling $150 or more, require a 50% deposit in order to secure your dates. The remaining 50% is due the day services begin.
If you are unable to pay the remainder the day you leave due to travel, please plan ahead and pay the day before you leave.
All holidays booked will include a time and a half charge (total of the holiday day + half of that charge). This includes any bank/government holiday, therefore it is subject to change. I will confirm at the time of your booking if a holiday fee will be included.
Things happen, and cancellations are inevitable. There are no fees for COVID related cancellations.
If your trip is cancelled, there is a family emergency, or there is another illness or injury, then I convert your 50% deposit to a credit to use for future bookings. If you did not pay a deposit, then there is no cancellation fee.
If you must cancel more than twice (2 times) in a calendar year, then I require a 100% deposit at the time of your bookings moving forward.
I do not charge cancellation fees for daily dog walks or visits, but I do ask you give a 24 hour notice if possible.
I do not charge a travel fee for any services provided within New Circle Road in Lexington. Any service outside of New Circle Road, I charge a $5 travel fee within Fayette County.
I do travel outside of Lexington for pet-sitting! I currently service Richmond, Salvisa, Georgetown, Danville, and Nicholasville. I determine the travel fee based on the miles and time it takes to drive to and from the service.
I also pet-sit out of state! I charge a one time travel fee, as well as a custom overnight fee. Please reach out for custom pricing.
All visits will be completed during a window of time, not an exact time. Due to the nature of this job, I am only able to guarantee exact times to clients that have pets with special medical needs, meaning they are on a medication that is time-sensitive.
All visits are completed during the following windows of time ~
Morning Visits
8 am - 10:30 am
Afternoon Visits
10:30 am - 3:30 pm
Evening Visits
6 pm - 8:30 pm
Daily dog walk clients have smaller windows for the afternoon visit slot, but I still require a window for flexibility. We will discuss what 2 hour window works best for you and your pup at the meet and greet!
Please note that I complete all dog visits first, unless it is a time-sensitive medication visit. Dog sanitary needs are more demanding that cats, therefore their visits are completed first.
I no longer keep client's keys for liability reasons. Upon hiring Nature's Nanny Petsitting, LLC., you are required to provide a lockbox or purchase one from me. You may also provide a hide-a-key (or something comparable), a door, or garage code for us to utilize. Please be prepared for a backup form of entry if you are providing an electronic code. Batteries die, and we have found they die often when you are out of town with no backup in place!
